Fire Burns Near Coors Brewery in Golden

A wildfire was burning close to the Miller Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado, on Thursday, March 9, and into Friday, March 10.

Fire officials said the blaze, estimated at 100 acres, was zero percent contained in an update issued late on Thursday. One firefighter sustained minor injuries, officials said. However no structures had been threatened and no evacuation orders had been issued. Helicopters were performing water drops to assist firefighters on the ground.
