Firefighters Rescue Injured Dog in Rocky Fire

More than 3,600 fire personnel continued to battle California’s largest wildfire, known as the Rocky Fire, on Thursday, August 6. The massive wildfire burned through about 110 square miles, which is nearly double the size of Washington, D.C., and destroyed 43 residences. The Rocky Fire is 40 percent contained, according to Cal Fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
