ISIS sex slave Nadia becomes UN goodwill ambassador
In an initiative to take the message of anti-human trafficking across the globe, and highlight the plight of 3,200 Yazidi women forced to serve as sex slaves in ISIS captivity, the United Nation's has decided to name Nadia Murad Basee Taha, a 23-year-old Yazidi woman who has survived rape and abuse as a sex slave of Islamic State fighters has become a UN goodwill ambassador for the dignity of survivors of human trafficking.
