Police Recover 65 Stanley Cups From Suspect's Car

Stanley cups are all the rage these days, but one Sacramento suspect went to extremes recently, according to police, who said they found 65 of the sought-after water bottles in her car.

“We strongly advise against turning to crime to fulfil your hydration habits,” the Roseville Police Department wrote on Facebook, where they posted photos of the merchandise in the 23-year-old suspect’s vehicle.

According to the post, police were called when “staff saw a woman take a shopping cart full of Stanley water bottles without paying for them.”

The products had a combined value of nearly $2,500, police said. The woman was arrested for Grand Theft. Credit: City of Roseville, California Police Department via Storyful
