- With this year finally closing out, there is plenty to look forward to in 2021. A coronavirus vaccine, the fingers crossed, safe return of live music and theater, and a whole bunch of highly anticipated movies. So whether you watch them at home or venture to the theater, here's Yahoo entertainment's top 10 movies we're most looking forward to in 2021.
Poking us at number 10 is the new reboot of horror classic, Candyman. Co-written by Jordan Peele and directed by Mia Dacosta, this movie, like several films on the list, was scheduled for a 2020 release only to be delayed. But next summer be prepared for a gory, gruesome trip into madness.
- I am the writing on the wall. The sweet smell of blood.
(SINGING) Say my name, say my name, say my name, say my name.
- Moving from fantasy to reality, Ridley Scott is directing Gucci, a drama about the fashion dynasty and the murder of the founder's grandson. Lady Gaga is set to star in the movie, her first role since A Star Is Born, which landed her an Oscar nomination.
In the latest spin off from the Avengers franchise, Black Widow is getting her own stand alone story. Scarlett Johansson once again plays the Super heroine in this prequel of sorts, which explores Black Widow's past as an assassin for the KGB and introduces her sister played by Florence Pugh.

- It's good to see you too, sis.
- Keanu Reeves is returning his Neo for the upcoming sequel to the matrix trilogy in The Matrix 4. Details are scarce about the film's story but, Carrie Ann Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith are reprising their original roles as well.
The last Spiderman movie, Spiderman Far From Home, was the highest grossing ever in the franchise so it's no surprise that Tom Holland will return for a sequel due out next December. Alfred Molina is also starring once again, playing super baddie, Dr. Octopus, just like he did in the 2004 version.
Bingeing The Sopranos has been a popular activity for many stuck at home during quarantine. So fans should be excited for The Many Saints of Newark, a movie prequel to the popular series. And in an inspired bit of casting, Michael Gandolfini, son of the late James Gandolfini, stars as a young Tony Soprano.
At number four on our list is Eternals, another entry in Marvel's jam packed phase four of its cinematic universe. Unlike superhero squads like the Avengers and the X-Men, the Eternals may be less recognizable to a wide audience but the cast star power isn't lacking thanks to Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, and more.
Next up is Judas and the Black Messiah, produced by Ryan Coogler and starring Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield. This drama tells the story of Black Panther chairman, Fred Hampton, and the undercover FBI informant who betrayed him leading to his death.
At number two is the epic space opera, Dune. Adapted from the best-selling science fiction book, the movie stars Timothee Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, and in a sure to be seen stealing role, a few big ol' sand worms.
Finally, at the top of our list, the most anticipated movie of 2021 is No Time To Die, the latest adventure with Bond, James Bond. Due to the coronavirus and its unfortunate name, the film was pushed from 2020 into 2021. It will mark Daniel Craig's final foray as 007 and Rami Malik's first as the villain, Saffet.
- I could be speaking to my own reflection. Only your skills die with your body, mine will survive long after I'm gone.
- History isn't kind to men who play God.
