Tornado Rolls Into Oregon Coastal Town

An unexpected tornado hit Manzanita, Oregon, a small coastal town of about 600 people, on Friday, October 14. A waterspout formed at about 8 am and shortly after came ashore as a tornado that “went right through the center of town”. The storm downed trees, utility poles and damaged homes as it swept through the community.
