Video: Former slave plantation in Towson preserved as a piece of American history
Take a glimpse into the 1800s at the Hampton National Historic Site in Towson, a former slave plantation. The Hampton mansion, owned for 165 years by the Ridgely family, is preserved as a piece of American history. There are two original stone slave quarters on the property. Ranger Anokwale Anansesemfo said they survived because they are well built.
