Winds From Hurricane Ana Whip Hawaii

Hawaii residents have braced themselves for high winds, heavy rain and huge waves as Hurricane Ana approached the islands on Saturday, October 18. The Category 1 storm was expected to pass 140 miles southwest of Oahu, according to the National Weather Service. Flash flood warnings were issued for all the islands following forecasts of torrential rain.
