Video of a man throwing yogurt on two unveiled women in Iran has gone viral. Following the incident, the two women were detained for allegedly violating Iran's hijab rules. Iranian media reported the country's judiciary chief threatened to prosecute the women without mercy for appearing in public with their hair uncovered.
A mobile phone ban will be enforced in every New South Wales public high school from term four this year, a ban which aligns with schools in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory. Education Minister Prue Car said the ban will create a level playing field, reduce distractions in classrooms, help address cyberbullying issues, and improve student learning outcome.
