Five Homes Destroyed After Coastal Erosion Causes landslide in Cedros
Five homes were destroyed in Bamboo Village, Cedros, Trinidad and Tobago, on February 26, after a coastal erosion trigged a landslide. According to a local weather center, 20 residents were displaced after their homes collapsed.
Loop Trinidad and Tobago reported one house collapsed at 4:30 pm Monday causing a domino effect which impacted four other houses. On Tuesday, residents in surrounding villages were still being ordered to evacuate as a precaution.
