Flash floods hit towns in northern Italy

STORY: A powerful storm hit the small towns of Niardo and Braone on Wednesday (July 28) night, damaging homes and filling roads with debris.

105 people were evacuated by two fire brigade helicopters after a summer camp where they were staying was isolated due to some landslides that blocked the connecting roads.

Seven fire brigade teams worked with excavators to clear roads of debris and remove mud from houses and help residents recover their belongings.
