Hurricane Nana Brings Floods to Honduras Before Reaching Belize

Hurricane Nana hit the coast of Belize during the early hours of September 3, with predictions of “life threatening flash floods and mudslides” from the National Hurricane Center. It was downgraded to a tropical storm soon after.

Nana had reached hurricane strength overnight after hitting the coast of Honduras. It was the fifth hurricane of the season.

The video, recorded on September 2, shows a flooded street and heavy rain in Coxen Hole, on the island of Roatan, Honduras.
