- Everybody now links you to the menopause as a conversation. So I wanted to know what makes you want to go there? Because it's not just the menopause. You went there with domestic violence. You've put yourself into conversations that a lot of people would just go, I don't need to do this. And yet you do. And there's no gain.
- When you're going through it, as you know, it's the loneliest, most terrifying place to be. You don't recognize yourself. You don't like yourself. You don't want to be around anybody. And you shut yourself away. And you don't want to work.
- No.
- And we have to work, you know?
And it's like you just want to curl up in a ball and stay there all day. And now I know the tools. And now I know what to do to help. But when I think back to how I was, I don't want anybody in the world to feel like that, to suffer like that. And that's truly why I do it, just to be super transparent about what's happening, warts and all. It's not the sexiest of subjects.
- It's really not.
- It's really not.
