Raw: As many as 5 shot downtown, Harrison says
As many as five people were shot Friday afternoon near Lexington Market in Baltimore. Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said a group of people was in the 200 block of Saratoga Street around 3:30 p.m. Friday, when a man began arguing with another man. At some point, one of the individuals began shooting at the other person, but also struck four others. Police said a preliminary investigation leads them to believe one person was the intended target. Harrison said the victims are all men ranging in age from 38 to mid-60s and they all suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Harrison said police were in a vehicle at the intersection of Eutaw and Saratoga streets. No further information was immediately released.
