Sadiq Khan on historic trip to Pakistan

London Mayor Sadiq Khan is on a historic trip to Pakistan. Khan is on the three day trip to promote trade links between London and Pakistan. Britain will need to find new trading partners after the break from the EU and the Mayor is keen to show Pakistani's that London is still open for business. The British born Muslim said he welcomed a continued good relationship between London and Pakistan. In a speech at the tomb of Pakistan's founding father Muhammad Ali Jinnah Khan said their unity would result in continued prosperity. The visit is the first by a London Mayor to Pakistan. It included a crossing between the boarder of India and Pakistan. During his trip Khan also called on the British Government to apologise for the massacre of hundreds of Indian protesters in 1919.
