Starbucks names Laxman Narasimhan as new CEO starting in April

RACHELLE AKUFFO: All right, to some breaking news now. Starbucks announcing its new CEO will be Laxman Narasimhan. Narasimhan will take over next April from Howard Schultz, who has been serving as interim CEO and will stay on to help with the transition. Earlier today, Narasimhan-- excuse me-- Narasimhan announced he was stepping down from his position as CEO of Reckitt Benckiser. He also previously held senior positions at PepsiCo. Now Starbucks is currently trading-- let's check after hours here-- up about 0.6%. So want to keep an eye on for sure.
