Tornado Forms Over Field Amid Hail Storms Near Paducah, Texas

A tornado was filmed forming over a field near Paducah, Texas, on May 4 as a damaging hail storm lashed the area.

A tornado watch was issued by the National Weather Service in eight counties in northwest Texas, including Paducah, followed by a severe thunderstorm warning, with wind gusts of up to 70 mph and tennis ball-sized hail.

“A thunderstorm with a confirmed tornado has been reported near the community of Dumont, moving east-northeast,” the National Weather Service said in a Twitter post.
