Powerful Earthquake Cracks Roads in Chile
A 7.6-magnitude earthquake on the Chilean island of Chiloe forced thousands of people to evacuate their homes in the southwestern coastal region near Quellon on Sunday, December 25.
Authorities declared a tsunami warning that has since been lifted. According to news reports, the quake caused some damage to roads and bridges.
