Royal Navy Flagship HMS Bulwark Leads Gallipoli Commemoration

HMS Bulwark, one of the British Royal Navy’s newest additions and also its flagship, took a lead role on Saturday, April 25, in commemorations of the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign, leading an international parade of ships past Turkey’s Cape Helles. The Gallipoli centenary corresponds to Anzac Day, and so has special meaning, since most of the allied soldiers who died in the failed operation were from Australia and New Zealand.
