Truck Pushes Through Anti-DAPL Protesters

Dakota Access pipeline workers attempted to drive a truck through a crowd of protesters near the construction site in Cannon Ball, North Dakota, on November 12. Several protesters tried to block the truck from passing through with their bodies.

Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and their supporters are protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota. The group says the pipeline is disrupting their cultural sites, including burial grounds, and poses a threat to the water supply. The protesters have been met with private security forces and riot police throughout the protests, which have been going on for months. Credit: Facebook/Cherri Foytlin via Storyful
